Family Overview

Carbides have extremely hard surfaces. This comes from their unique crystal structures. The three families are based on different materials which allow them to be highly customizable. 

Boron Carbide and Tungsten Carbide are synthesized to take advantage of their outstanding mechanical properties. 

While Silicon Carbide is a naturally occurring formulation, highly monitored synthetic production allows it to be applied in a large range of applications depending on purity levels.
