Siliconized Silicon Carbide is a unique silicon carbide that has silicon metallic in between the grains. The process for manufacturing Si:SiC allows for extremely tight tolerances even for large parts. Additionally, infiltrating the grain structure, the silicon makes siliconized silicon carbide ideal for high-stress applications that require great mechanical strength, and excellent corrosion and wear resistance.
